Essay On Family Stereotypes

Family is the driven factor which help you determine your beliefs and attributes. Being born as a Mexican-American children, set a huge barrier for my learning. No child wants to be the student who is “special”. Being told you are to receive speech therapy until, you are redesignated is not an experience you want to go through in life. I was always the child who had anxiety to leave my mother's side, until the school district stepped in and force me to go to school. People stereotype me as the child who wasn't go to get far in life, due to my emotional breakdowns. Being put obstacles in life has contributed to the person I am today.

At the age of ten losing a friend in my childhood has given me the motive of helping others when in need. The amount of pain knowing they need help, but not knowing medical treatment they need to take is distressing. After losing my close friend, my whole world shut down. No amount amount of therapy or counseling will make you feel content with happiness or joy in life again. Being removed from the darkside you put yourself in, will only be possible with the help of others. Giving back to the community, the people in need, and the world in general is the career choice I want to pursue.

It was a huge hit but I was able to get back up. My family have always provided me with the strength and support needed in order to continue going in life. Being the person I am today has given me the strength to be prepared for the unexpected. Given the opportunity to pursue my career goals will be my way of giving remembering the people I lost in life. For me giving back will always be a part of my life. When I give back to other I always get the adrenaline rush in my veins, just watching the people smile is the biggest reward I could ever receive.
