The Kingdom of God that is present here today, In Luke 17:20 it says that the kingdom is not something that can be observed. Jesus is clearly explaining that the kingdom in which he is proclaiming can not be seen but is a spiritual kingdom which changes the lives of those who accept it. In Romans, the Kingdom of God is explained in terms of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. In Mark 4:11 it says “To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but those who are outside get everything in parables”, showing that at this time Jesus only gave the Kingdom of God to the disciples, and then after His assentation it was given to all who believe. The kingdom is with the people of God, where His love and joy can be found in His spirit within them. Until the day of the Lord returns the Church is called to share the Gospel and share His spirit with the lost and the weak. For it is in His spirit that they will find strength and the lost will be found. It is in Faith of the unseen that Christians find and fulfill their purpose in Christ. It is through baptism that Christians are tied with Christ’s death and are brought forth new, in a new life of love and grace that their spirit dwells with Christ, and it is not till His second coming where the physical creation of new bodies in the new heaven and new earth.
