Essay On Ender's Game

Ender’s Game so far is more diverse and different than any other book I’ve read, which is a very good thing and one of the many reasons why I am enjoying this novel so far. The book is set in a school in space made for kids that have the potential to become great commanders and soldiers, anybody sent there will stay there until they finish their training which may be until they’re eighteen or until they iced/booted off. This give me the sense of urgency, like they don’t have much time to waste on those who aren’t fit for being a commander but those who are fit will become good tacticians. We not only see the Ender’s point of view (the protagonist) in battle school, but we also get to see how Peter and Valentine (Ender’s brother and sister) are doing back on earth. It also goes into their thoughts which tells you a lot about their character and personality, what’s so neat about this is that you can see how events change them and how they think in some cases. There are different conflicts as the story goes on, while the main conflict is about aliens possibly attacking earth again and humans not being prepared, the temporary peace between all the countries might be disturbed if everybody found out that aliens might not even be a threat anymore, so Russia is preparing an army if such a thing happens and war breaks out. As you can see there are problems on a global scale, but there are also problems between Ender and his commanders or Valentine and Peter. There are conflicts everywhere and the way they are being solved is very creative and realistic, there is no direct way these issues can be solved but the way the characters go about it isn’t too over the top, which really immerses me into the
