Electoral College System is the process to elect the president and the vice president of the United States. The Electoral College is consists of 538 electors. I think the Electoral College vote has distributed in disproportionate way. Again, the candidate who wins the highest vote in a state gets the all Electoral votes all of the certain state. This should need to be reformed as well. I think national popular vote is rather logical than congressional district plan. The president of the United States of America represents all the citizen of the country. So I believe he should have elected by the direct votes from the citizen which is popular vote. Right at the moment in the congressional district plan the president has mostly decided by the Electoral votes of big states such as Texas, California, Florida and New York. Because this all four states contains 151 Electoral College votes that means if a candidate win the majority vote in this certain four state the can able to get more than half of the Electoral votes to win the president election. I think this is rather injustice to the other state’s resident. From the history of the American Election we can able to see that sometime the winner of the presidential election get less popular vote but achieve more Electoral vote. For example in election of 2000 Mr. George W. Bush get less popular vote than Mr. Albert Gore Jr. But Mr. George W. Bush won the election and elected the president.
