Introduction
Divorce is for many a process that causes hardships, ruins plans and for some it provides relief but at the least it shakes the ground of what once was thought to be good. The thought being through thick and thin, through sickness and health are parts of the vows taken in marriage. Those vows are taken before many to include friends and family with the venue often being either a courthouse or a church. Marriages for some fall a part and divorce rings like the Tsar bell which the biggest bell (216 tons) in the world. The divorce process involves lawyers in the midst of who is getting sole or partial custody of the kids. The lawyers are also involved in the financial side of things to include of course alimony and child support. Throughout this process the parents bring the legal debates around their children at times. The process of divorce can go many ways but the children are usually subject to go to the parent that can best financially support them or their mother. The other consideration is more often then not the child goes to the mother instead of the father. One article mentions, “Following divorce, one parent – usually the father – generally becomes nonresident” (Finley, 2010). There has been debate on if this is best for the children and in some cases that fact has been considered in some courts. Since the mother gave birth she has a perceived legal right to the child that the father does not seemingly have. The reality is nothing is of us and everything is of God. The thought could be explored that women came from man and man came from God. 1 Corinthians 11:12 states, “For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God.” Really the child should biblically go to the parent who best supports their growth in Christ. Some times children may have to go to a parent that may not present the best situation for their all around welfare but that’s where they may end up unless a parent can prove a case of neglect or other various concerns that may seem legitimate in the views of he
