Essay On Declaration Of Independence

The Declaration of Independence states that all men are created equal, with certain unalienable rights which include life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Liberty; that is one of the greatest parts of this country. Without freedom, I could not help change this country for the better. While I might not do something as bold as committing treason to create a new country, like the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence, I can do the little things that often get overlooked. but without the freedom that these men sought, I could not change my country.
So what is my responsibility to America? Well, to start with, I can remind people of the four words printed on all of the United States currency, “In God We Trust.” People have forgotten what the people of this country …show more content…
We have a voice in this government. Theodore Roosevelt has one said: The government is us; we are the government, you and I. Because I am a part of this government, I need to have a voice no matter if it is big or small. Right now, though, I can’t vote or have a big voice in the government, and because of this many people my age may decide that they don’t have anything to do for this country right now. But I can help change that. Just making this speech is helping to change that. While I might not have a big voice in this government, I have responsibility.
I think that getting a knowing how to finance is a good way to help out this country. Right now, I can’t get a normal job and make money. Being a freshman in high school, there aren't a lot of options for a job right now. But, while I can’t get a job now, I can learn learn good ways to use my money, and not waste it, so when I do have job I can use my money in the best ways.
