A recent interest in the community to the promotion of culturally sensitive nursing education prompted me to make a search for the article discovering this issue. A growing multicultural society presents healthcare providers with a difficult task of providing appropriate care for individuals that have different life experiences, beliefs, value systems, religions, languages, and healthcare practices. I believe that I, as a nurse should strive to increase the application of cultural care because of increasing proportion of the new immigrants and visible minority population. However, this is hard to achieve without including cultural sensitivity into nursing curricula.

Conclusion depicts the fact that nursing educators should promote a culturally sensitive learning environment, although the ways of achieving this goal are not outlined.
I believe that this paper might be useful for nursing educators, students, preceptors, and mentors. Even though this research paper did not provide the reasonable ways to implement a cultural sensitivity in most of the institution, it still emphasizes the acknowledgment of a positive effect of culturally safe environment.
In addition, there might be difficulties in measuring the outcomes of the program since the results are dependent on many additional variables and highly subjective. Finally, some institution may not be willing to implement the program due to budgeting issues, non-acceptance from the local authorities, and other problems.
