G.K’s sentence unintentionally highlights Costantini’s interaction with primitive art. Using watercolours Costantini painted mostly small-scale landscapes, gardens, miniature figures and portraits. Watercolour, except for low cost material, is a challenging technique since an assured competency is required, as it is extremely challenging to correct any possible
