Coreluv is an institution based out of Haiti that was created to take in orphans and provide them with a home. With the help of many other churches from around the world Coreluv is able to provide more services to those orphans such as a closer well, more books to learn, and rooms to provide for these kids. This institution is virtuous because they teach orphans about God, provide them with food and water, and lastly provide them with an education, which will make them into thinkers of the future. So how does two youth pastors from Houston, Texas start in institution in Haiti for orphans and how does bringing God down to Haiti help orphans? Education is the key for those orphans to help bring Haiti out of this waste that the earthquake created. It is through their knowledge and education that they can help bring Haiti forward and provide good leadership. In order for Haiti to go back to what it once was they are going to need good leadership that is acquired through education. Coreluv realizes this and they only want to develop these kids into something much more then just any other orphan. Also, “According to ‘virtue ethics’, there are certain ideals, such as excellence or dedication to the common good, toward which we should strive and which allow the full development of our humanity” (Ethics and Virtue). This is the finally reason to why Coreluv is a virtuous institution because they are doing everything that the quote says above. Without Coreluv coming and trying to everything within their power to make these orphans have a better life then would be no future for Haiti. Yet still people believe that Haitians will never be able to lead their own country out of what has happened to Haiti.
