Concussions Protocol: Should it be allowed country wide or not? Recently, the issue of concussions has been driven into the spotlight. The death of the famous footballer Tyler Sash has brought subject of concussions into the view of many people. Sash had been diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) nearly five months after his death. A concussion is an injury to the brain. It can be caused by a blow to the head, or any movement that shakes the brain inside the skull. The brain is a soft organ surrounded by spinal fluid and protected by a hard skull. Normally the fluid acts like a cushion for the brain, but if the blow is hard enough, the brain can crash into the skull and be damaged. Some common symptoms that you could experience after having a concussion would be headaches, blurred vision, and sensitivity to light and noise. The governemnt would probably pay for the nurse or doctor and the medical equipment. The money the government aquires is from the tax the citizens give. Therefore, the citizens would have to pay more tax in order for the governemnt to fullfill the needs of the concussion protocol. Also this could have a negative impact on the economy because the government might not be able to meet the demands and lead the country into a reccession. This could result in jobs being lost and people losing their houses. Futhermore, it could be bad to make the concussion protocol nationwide. All in all, concussion have become a major problem that must be addresed. Although making the concussion protocol countrywide might have a negative effect on the economy, lives should be considered above money. Moreover, the standard concussion protocol should be made
