While he was in this so-called green zone (safety area), I was lead to believe he was safe, more often than none I was wrong. He would call and say he will talk to me shortly he had to go repair a broken down vehicle and call when he returned if the internet was working. Days went by without contact not having any inclination what he was doing or why he didn't call. When he was able to call he would say that the internet was down and he was sorry. This I believe for along time and found to to be untrue. He was only saying what he need to shield me of the torment and suffering these children were going through, and wasn't able to say exactly what on the phone because someone was listening and if he said anything they thought was security issue they would shut down all communication. Eventually over calls and emails I piece together some things that they were being sent in to the war area to retrieve or repair these vehicles without proper military attire putting them at risk 24/7, as I later found our they slept with with rifles on their persons when they
