Coca-cola soft drinks are products by a company known as Coca-Cola located in Atlanta Georgia. The company started its operations in 1944 and is still vigorously operating (Schaeffer & Bateman, 1995). The drink’s registered trademark is Coke. The Coca-cola drinks consumption is frequent during meals, snacks and when relaxing in a hot weather. The product has an extended market all over the world. Although the consumption in places such as United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK) is reducing, the company is extending its market in other places such Africa where the consumption of the drinks has become habitual (Blanding, 2015).
According to Andress et al. (2004), the demand and supply of coca cola products are influenced by some factors.

Most consumers will consume more of the products of higher quality and dismiss the products with less quality. Since the drinks are considered good quality, customers are loyal to the brand hence the stability in supply (Haig & Haig, 2011). Additionally, advertising is as well a factor that has largely influenced the market of coke. There is a lot of advertisement concerning the drinks on radio stations, televisions, magazines, websites and the social media. The advertisements are in categories as per the actual product with relation to the targeted group of people. For instance, Fanta soda is associated with children and thus its advert features kids or cartoons. Consumers need to know the going concern status of the products. However, future expectation is related to the presence of substitutes, competitors and other related campaigns (Haig & Haig, 2011). For example, Caramel color used in sodas has been scientifically proved to be casino-genic upon excessive consumption. Most people with such information will cut their consumption (Blanding, 2015). Accessibility is a major factor to consumption. Consumers will purchase products that they can access.
