Not everyone has a perfect relationship with their parents but in McCandless’ case he has an absolute terrible relationship with his parents. His whole life his parents have been pushing him to succeed and become the best he could be. While most kids appreciate a little push or a boost of confidence McCandless’ parents when above and beyond that and pushed him so hard that he just wanted it all to end and for them to leave his life.
