This is because the research conducted shows that the scientists have documented the closeness between human beings and chimpanzees due to the close genetic sequence. The sequence indicates that the DNA profile for humans and chimpanzees especially the bonobos is similar showing some evolutionary linkages (Drake, 2015). History documents that human beings evolved from the apes at least seven million years ago or as early as thirteen million years ago. Various forms of species have been documented over all those years with transitions including; Australopithecus afarensis dated 3.2 million years ago, the Homo species dated about 2.8 million years ago (Drake, 2015). The Homo species which was inclusive of Homo erectus, Homo habilis and Homo sapiens. Evidence of evolution from my research is highly attributed to genetic evidence with 98.8 percentages in DNA similarity though there are missing links on where the apes and human beings split in terms of evolution (Choi, 2009). The research labs and archaeological centers that I have visited show the linkage between the two species attributing all the changes existing to mutations (Mauk, 2013). The questionnaires that I issued had higher positive results on human evolution from chimpanzees thus giving more likelihood for a positive hypothesis. I base my estimated outcome majorly on …show more content…
I carried out the visit in form of a field excursion that enabled me to carry out my own tests that helped verify my findings as well as finding more information from the expert O’Leary. I talked to the zoo worker in charge of the chimpanzees and this helped me get more information on their general way of life comparable to the human beings’ way of life. I carried out the field research so as to gain more evidential knowledge on the chimpanzees so as to be certain of the final details. The information that I have achieved from the databases and people as well as written materials may be obsolete and may have little validity thus the need to establish a field research to have well updated and validated data. I had a chance to interact with the chimpanzees and thus learn more about them assisting me in
