Changing is Inevitable Being in a long-term relationship changes how you see the world, because it changes who you are. Although many try to say that they will never change, that they are who they are, anyone who enters into a long-term, loving relationship with another human being will inevitably change. A person will find a way to work out any annoyance with the one they love, even if it means giving up a little of your own personal beliefs to do so. You learn to compromise, to find ways to get along and be happy in the company of another for long periods of time. You learn to think of others and put them and their desires before yourself and your wants. You will also see the world as a happier and better place, because of the chemicals released into your brain by the love you feel. However, you will only experience these things as long as you are happy in your relationship, as the switch happens from happiness to anger and/or sadness, you begin to ignore those lessons and view the world in a worse way. You may even begin to dislike your life altogether. Loving someone is a wonderful experience that teaches you many valuable lessons in life, but do not stay in a bad relationship in hopes it will get better and that you will experience the pleasures again, it can ruin your outlook on life and life’s
