You learn to compromise, to find ways to get along and be happy in the company of another for long periods of time. You learn to think of others and put them and their desires before yourself and your wants. You will also see the world as a happier and better place, because of the chemicals released into your brain by the love you feel. However, you will only experience these things as long as you are happy in your relationship, as the switch happens from happiness to anger and/or sadness, you begin to ignore those lessons and view the world in a worse way. You may even begin to dislike your life altogether.
