“America will never be destroyed from the outside if we falter and lose our freedoms
It will be because we destroyed ourselves”
- Abraham Lincoln

America is known as a force that is not to be reckoned with but with the upcoming elections. I believe America will rise and become a nation that is no longer known for its arrogance in addition to the ignorance that surrounds most of our nation’s people. I write to you all today because I believe America can be changed for the better and the person that can make America become the once respectable nation, it once was. The person that can change our America for the better, Evan McMullin, a formerly chief policy director for the House Republican Conference as well as a CIA operative, he earned

People came here from all over the world, some not of their free will but America was structured by immigrants. To this very day Immigrants come here for a new life but there are many Americans who say they should leave and go back to their own country besides America is a nation of immigrants, from as I said before from all over the world. Evan McMullin has stated that “ he would secure the border, then deal with the illegal immigrants who are already here. What’s clear is that mass deportations are simply impractical. ” The simpler term of his statement would be he wants to secure the border, make all the illegal immigrants full American citizens because mass deportation is unnecessary. Which is agreeable, to deport hundreds of people would start riots and protests throughout the nation, so many people would fight back against mass deportation, it wouldn’t be right to those innocent civilians. Slogans are a type of vague sentence or statement that are typically used to convey a opinion or a goal. Due to the vagueness, they are not meant to be meaningless, rather they are typically easy to agree with but can later be found to be objectionable. Take for example Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan, we could replace the word "great" with "guess" and we would have a more accurate statement.…

Our Nations Transformation Originally sent to this continent in search of a better life and religious freedom, Pilgrims and Puritans began to set up their new lives in Massachusetts in the 1600s. In the years to follow many more people arrived and set up settlements along the east coast of what is now America. Summer Slininger Latino: The Changing Face of America is a documentary that dives deep into the fact that in the future the United States will face a demographic shift and Latinos will become the largest demographic group. Roxane Frias created this documentary to inform people about how the Latino population will begin to have a large influence on the United Sates future within politics and communities. This movie was an eye opener for me, as before watching this film I was oblivious to many of the facts that were spread throughout the film. When the film began to talk about how the presidential candidates need to receive the Latino vote in order to win presidency, I was a little weary on that fact.…

In American during the 1890’s, a third party known as the Populist Party, or the People’s Party, emerged. It is a left-wing political party focusing initially on farmer’s interests. Established in 1891, as a result of the Populist movement, the Populist Party represented the interests of farmers, miners and laborers against the Eastern elites, cities, banks, and railroads. Farmers were unhappy with low agricultural prices, high interest rates on loans and high train fares, with banks and railroads controlled by a small group of elites in the East. They did not feel that the two major political parties, Democratic Party and Republican Party could represent small farmers’ interests because they were controlled by bankers, landowners and elites…

What it means to be an American The majority of Americans would say their country, United States of America, is the greatest country on the face of the planet. However, it wasn’t always like this. Many of the bravest leaders who have ever lived, our ancestors, took part in fighting for the privileges and freedoms we Americans receive today. Sometime, I believe the existence of life is just a tragedy. It is not what happening to my life or to those around me that effecting me deeply – it is the external forces that I have no control over or the inability for me to make a different to the situation. Every day, I see bad things happen in the world, especially the thing that happen to the innocent children and the unborn babies. Granted, not all babies are cute or healthy when they were born, but nonetheless, they are innocents. Why do they have suffered at the hand of the adults: the one that created them, the one that meant to take care of them, the one that support to sacrifice for them?…

Republican and Democrat politicians have betrayed our country and traded away our freedom and sovereignty in exchange for a globalist New World Order. The America First Party is dedicated to electing people to office who will put America and all Americans First. We recognize that our nation needs our help and determined to reclaim America for Americans!” Democrats and republicans usually don’t get along and don’t see eye to eye.…

The slogan that propelled Donald Trump into his influence across the nation, “make America great again,” shows that Trump sees America has fallen downhill and has hopes to improve it. Trump wants to see this country go back to the prosperous country it once was, but he does not know how to filter his words according to most, which makes him seem frightening. Despite Clinton’s accusation about the risk of Donald Trump, his clever use of scare tactics gives voters a sense of security because of his ideas concerning immigration and terrorism. According to Molly Ball, author of “Donald Trump and the Politics of Fear,” Donald Trump uses fear to his advantage in hopes of winning the presidential election.…

There are so many different cultures in the world from Japanese cultures, to Chinese cultures, to even our very own American cultures. I will talk about American culture, even though there are many sub-cultures in the American culture I will try to narrow it down. American cultures for us is the normal things we do; we tend to think that everyone does the same things that we do in our everyday life. For example, from driving on the right side of the road to even eating with forks and knives. Everyone’s culture is so different, and we usually sit and judge others cultures without knowing about them.…
