It is such a moving and touching film that shows you the perspective of the immigrant, and everything they experience while living in the U.S. illegally. Just like Liberation Theology, Under the Same Moon showed me what it truly is like to look through the eyes of an illegal immigrant. It really put into perspective how important their dignity is as humans and as fellow brothers and sisters. Sometimes I feel like that is a big factor that is often forgotten. Individuals sometimes get caught up only thinking about themselves, and forget that all individuals have dignity and are worthy of the same respect. I have also recently found a passion in serving my brothers and sisters alongside the sisters at the Missionaries of Charity in D.C., and I will continue to put the principles of Catholic Social Teaching into use when serving there each week. I will make sure to act as a strong example and to teach others about the importance of the principles of Catholic Social Teaching and how they can bring us closer together and closer to God. By following Catholic Social Teaching as a guide, I will be
