The United States of America has gone through numerous wars and very tragic wars like the Civil War, WWI, WWII, and many more. The Civil War began in 1861 and divided the nation. According to History.com, WWI began in 1914 it was Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire (Central Powers) VS Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Romania, Japan and the United States (Allied Powers). The Allied powers won by the time the war was over, more than 16 million people died- including soldiers and civilians.
