Narrative Essay On Caramel Frappes

Improved Essays
While sitting and drinking our caramel frappes, like we do every Friday, Nicole randomly interrupted my story about the mall earlier that week with Abbey. “I really don’t care what you did with Abbey,” Nicole said quietly while taking a drink of her frappe. ‘I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that was a problem,” you could very clearly here the annoyance in my voice. Nicole was always jealous of my other friend, this I knew very well. Especially Abbey. “It’s not that I don’t care, I just wasn’t invited and we do everything together. Or at least we used to.” This was the type of thing that always made me really mad. “You and Abbey don’t get along, and she invited me. I can’t just invite you also.” “Look, if you want to continue …show more content…
She looked like she didn’t know what to say or think. “Please tell me you aren’t mad at me,” my voice cracked when I said this, which made my eyes begin to water also. “I really can’t lose you as a friend. I just, I don’t know what to do.” “I’m not mad, its just Nicole is really clingy. You don’t need friends like that,” now you could start to see that she was getting upset. “I know, but she has been my best friend since first grade. I don’t want to lose her either. I guess I can talk to her.” As I said this Nicole walked in, and didn’t look to happy when she saw me talking to Abbey. “What happened to not talking to her?! I guess she is your new best friend,” Nicole was bright red as she said this. “I’m just gonna go, have fun with your new best friend.” With that she turned around and stormed out before I could say anything back. “I’m really sorry about that,” I said turning to Abbey. “I’ll see you tomorrow at school. I better get going.”

“I need to talk to you.” Nicole hadn’t answered any of my messages, so talking in person was my only option. “You can’t tell me who I can and can’t be friends with. Abbey is my friend, and that’s not going to

She was standing by herself just like me. I really should apologize. I can’t lose such a good friend. Especially over something stupid.
Abbey is right though, it’s not worth it to fight with her. If she wants to be my friend still, then she will come to me. I don’t need negativity in my life, or clingy people. I then walk to class, because watching Nicole won’t help anything.

“Hey Rose,” I heard from behind me, while standing next to my locker and talking to Abbey. I knew the voice right away, but the expression on Abbey 's face would’ve given it away anyways. I turned around and stood face to face with Nicole.
“Yeah? What do you want?” The attitude in my voice came of a little more rude that I had thought it would. “Sorry, I didn’t mean for that to sound rude.”
“It’s whatever. I just thought I’d talk to you about what 's been going on,” she paused for a second before adding “can we talk over coffee tonight? Abbey, I would like you to join also.”
“Yeah sure thing, see you then.” After she walked away me and Abbey went back to talking. I just couldn’t think of why she would invite Abbey also.

It gets stupidly hot in Danielsville, Louisiana, especially around summer. This would be fine I guess if we had something to do, to keep our mind off of the heat but there isn’t anything to do. Danielsville, Louisiana has three churches (Pentecostal), twice as many bars, one high school and no books stores or libraries. This means you’re either too drunk to read, or too Christian to read anything good. Big enough to have a mayor’s house, but not big enough to be on any map of any kind, it’s the kind of town where everyone knows your name and basically everything about you.…

I just got done with my shift to protect Camp Half-Blood feeling very tired and stressed. With the camp’s protection being down and most of the campers going back to their families for the summer, this meant that there were very few of us to guard our safe haven. Not to mention I was still recovering from my broken ankle. I decided to take a walk down to the beach near the camp. Lately, I’ve found the sound of crashing waves, wind brushing through my hair, and the slight smell of salt hitting my face very soothing ever since I had met my best friend, Percy Jackson.…
