Bipolar disorder is a psychological disorder that effects at least 1% of people in each country throughout the world. This brain disorder is one of the most widely known psychological disorder. It effects around 1.1% of the population over 18.( (NIMH n.d.) Often times people suffering from bipolar disorder suffer from manic episodes along with sever depression. The first bipolar episode usually happens when a person is still in their adolescence stage. Bipolar disorder can affect woman and men both and tends to run in genetics. Bipolar disorder can develop in many different ways; a person can deal with it their entire lives or it can be brought on by a traumatic life event and drug use. People who suffer from Bipolar can be completely normal and show no signs that they have the disorder. Others can show signs of it even when they are not suffering from a manic episode.
