Society’s beliefs change and if a person’s beliefs do not change or adapt with them bad things can result of it. In the case of the tragic story of Romeo and Juliet an old disagreement between two families caused two young people in love to take their lives. If the feud was solved in earlier years, the deaths of the Montague boy and Capulet girl would not have taken place along with many other deaths. The feud is so involved in everyone’s lives that even the servants of each family fight on the street. For example at school if someone were to talk about their beliefs against same sex marriage the they can and most likely will offend someone. Instead of the person who was offended standing up for their beliefs in a respective way the person may react to it negatively by aggressively arguing back with the person. When opposing someone’s beliefs it is important to acknowledge their side of the argument. Another example that shows feuds can happen by not progressing along with society’s beleifs is whether or not tablets should replace textbooks.In this day and age technology is increasing by the hour, it is used more and more in peoples daily lives. At Willard High School there is a mix of teachers who support a large amount of technology in the classroom and those who do not. Yet, there isn’t any feuds because no one is forcing the other to not use technology or to use technology.
