When I was in the seventh grade, my teacher assigned a professional career to each student to research and prepare a presentation on. I was assigned pharmacist and instantly fell in love with the idea of being a pharmacist. I liked that pharmacists help people, they have many job opportunities, and they receive a good salary. I faced many challenges during my college career, but I never gave up. College taught me that I am able to withstand adversity and handle any curve balls that are thrown my way. After earning my Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and working in the pharmacy for 4 years, I have developed an even deeper love for the occupation. I am fascinated with the science and chemistry of how drugs can help heal the body and keep the body healthy. Knowing that I am helping people maintain and live a healthier life makes me feel like I am changing the world in my own little way.
