Becoming a National Honor Society member is one of the highest levels of recognition any student can receive, because it shows that you possess the attributes of a leader and that you are well rounded. Also, becoming a member of National Honor Society can help you gain more leadership experience, lets you surround yourself with people who share the same interest as you and it gives you an opportunity to give back to the community with all the community service opportunities.I believe that I would be a great addition to National Honor Society, because I exceed the National Honor Society member criteria.I contain qualities of a National Honor Society member because I am dedicated,unselfish, and a strong leader.

I have always loved leading people and that is one of the reasons why I chose to be a point guard in basketball.The point guard's job is to tell his teammates what to do on the court.I have also helped other people by teaching them how to play basketball, for example I taught my friend how to shoot a basketball more efficiently.I thought him this by watching videos and learning from them.My friend believed his way was right because every coach and even NBA players have taught kids how to shoot like that.But,after watching many videos I realized that way of shooting a basktball was wrong and I taught him how to shoot it properly.I followed my own path and did not follow what other people said, because in the end they were wrong.That is why I believe a am a good leader, because I can make make owe choice and I do not need anyone telling me which directon I should
