When choosing my top five careers it was kind of hard but I managed to narrow it down to a criminal psychologist, Anesthesiologist, a Juvenile case manger, an Event coordinator, or cosmetologist/business owner. Each one of these careers all hold an importance in someone’s lives. Rather it be planning someone’s big day, helping parents get back on the right track, numbing their pain for labor, or just simply making them feel pretty for a day! -Education & Training- The first step to becoming a criminologist is to complete a high school diploma. Next, you will need to earn a bachelor’s degree in criminology, psychology, or sociology. A bachelor’s degree takes 4 years to complete. However, because it is difficult to get into the field with just a bachelor’s degree, most people highly recommend that you complete a master’s degree, and preferably a PhD. It takes 1 to 2 years to complete a master’s degree, and 4 to 5 years to earn a PhD. Therefore, you’re looking at about 10-11 years total.
