They stole most racing sports from ancient Greece, like horse racing, swimming, and chariot racing. They also stole most of the Olympic sports. They stole discus, javelin, 100 meter sprint, horse racing, swimming, almost everything. Most rules stayed the same as ancient Greek's rules in sports. The fighting rules were the same. Rome and Greek sports had a lot of similarities. Both of the Civilizations had almost the exact same style of fighting, which was that they both covered their hands with fabric, instead of full boxing gloves, they had the same fight until knockout rule, and a lot of other similarities. Both Civilizations had horse racing and held the event the same way, swimming, fighting, almost every sport. Both civilizations had some kind of main ring or place they held for main events of sports, for Rome that is the Colosseum. Although ancient Greece and ancient Rome had a lot of similarities, they had a lot of differences too. In ancient Greece they didn’t fight to the death that often, but in ancient Rome, they used slaves getting brutally killed as entertainment. In ancient Rome they had the Colosseum as the main place where everything happened, in ancient Greece they were everywhere. In ancient Rome they had animals fighting humans in the arena, but in ancient Greece they mostly had humans fighting
