Leo Tolstoy: My Personal Experience With Diet Change

Leo Tolstoy once said, “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” Change is difficult but is inevitable so we just have to live with it. The new years is a very popular time for change. Diet change, no more getting drunk, trying new things. These are all examples of things people wish to adjust about their lives. I have made my own checklist. Ambitions for myself in the upcoming 2018. Trying new things, eating healthier, dancing more, and growing my nails longer. Let's see how I do, shall we?
My first resolution is trying new things. Trying new things is always burdensome but there is a certain fulfilment in knowing you have tried something completely different and out of your comfort zone. Dance is the most fun you can have while simultaneously exercising. I absolutely LOVE dancing. I remember one time, when I went to my dance class at school and I was the youngest dancer there and I was picked to go in front ! I felt so proud and happy with myself. I want to do my best in everything I do so I was really glad that I was picked. It’s a really good skill to have and it’s always good to learn new moves and skills to help you exercise your brain and your body. You meet so many new and friendly people and most of the time you share the same interest such as music and dance. It could also be a career move if you want to do it professionally. I have always wanted to be a professional dancer and dance for celebrities and singers like Justin Timberlake. I want to do much more dance this year because I feel I don't do it as often as I should and my moves are very limited. I want to do it after school as well as in school so I get to learn different techniques from different choreographers. All in all, it’s a fun hobby I’d like to do more of this

Health is a personal mater. How can a person held someone else responsible for his or her health when that person is not living a healthy life style? Some people tend to blame others for their health issues and demand that the government or health insurance companies should pay for their medicine. The Oxford Dictionary defines a sport as, “an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment”. My initial thoughts and impressions upon viewing the film Rize were of amazement at how athletic the dancers were, of shock at the environment they were surrounded by, and of being impressed by their creative use of dance to overcome their environment. Having a dance background, myself, I was fascinated at their strong popping movements and the use of raw energy and immense power. This was not the dance I was taught growing up. Initially, I was struck by the determination shown in the dancers faces; like their bodies, chiseled as smooth stone, into the expressions on their faces. The film cleared up a misconception of mine as well; the misconception that Hip Hop and Rap were the same, or having the same origins.…
