Temperature of Water vs. Time it Takes for Alka Seltzer Tablet to Dissolve Lab 7th Grade

Question:
What is the effect of the temperature of the water on the time it takes for an alka seltzer tablet to dissolve in water?

Intro:
This lab represents a parts of the rock cycle when rocks fall into water over thousands of years they become smaller and are in more pieces this is called weathering. But, not all water is the same temperature. For example rivers are moving so they will be colder than a pond that sits in the sun all day also, geysers and hot springs are usually boiling so the rocks are in really hot water and when rocks are in deep ocean water they are really cold because the sun doesn't get all the way down there and there is not

I think the reason the cold tablet was the slowest to dissolve was because the cold water slowed down the process of it breaking down.
It was very important for the amount of water in each trial to be the same. It was also important for the beakers to be washed out well or some of the chemicals were in there before could change the time. It is also important to make sure that the tablets are not crushed or broken because that may make a difference on how long it takes for a tablet to dissolve because the surface area of the tablet is different.
If I were to do this experiment again I would make sure that the room temperature water was actually at room temperature by letting it sit in the room for a few hours this would change the experiment because the room temperature water will always be at the same temperature, as opposed to when you fill it up and leave it out for a few minutes the water that is used first will be a few degrees colder than the water that is used second. I would also have bigger beakers because when the hot tablet hit the water it was really hard to see because of the foam coming out from the
