The main reason why Alexander did not deserve the title the great is because he only cared about his own fame and benefits. He was all full of himself and didn't care about anyone else. One reason to show that he was all about his fame is that he went out of his way 500 miles to Egypt to become pharaoh and conquer 3 of Egypt's cities with his men tried, wanting to go home. Hitler did the same things as Alexander did. For example Hitler wanted to rule the world, Alexander wanted to conquer the biggest empire ever. The difference between the both of them here is that Hitler had allies such as Italy and Japan. Alexander did not. Hitler also had bad character. Hitler put the Jewish people in camp’s; Women and child in one and men in the other. Alexander put the persians that he enslaved in camps and made them work hard. Hitler did this after he got elected in 1933. The men were treated worst than the women and children in Hitler's camps. The men got 1 bread of food a day and had to mine rock 24/7. They fought over who ate rats and other food they could get there hands on. When the camps filled up they took them into a large area where they said they had food but didn’t. In that room they locked the doors from the outside and sprayed poison gas until they were all dead. Some people escaped. On November 5, 1943 764 jew’s escaped a train. Another time is when a few hundred people tried to dig their way out underground. They dug 3 holes. One of them leading past the gates and two of them in front of the gates. Once Hitler found out about this he killed all the people who we in the camp at the time, even the soldiers!
