Have you ever changed to something different in your life? Well that’s what Alex Rider is dealing with he has stuck with a certain organization for many years. He now had an urgent feeling to switch to the bad side.

My book Alex Rider Scorpia starts off with an investigation. Alex Rider the young, brave, and intelligent spy is sent on a mission to Venice to investigate an organization called Scorpia. I wonder what made Alex want to join Scorpia? I think that Alex wanted to join Scorpia because his dad had did it and he wants to follow in his father’s footsteps: “Alex your father himself was once a part of Scorpia” (Horowitz 89). I also think that Alex wanted to join it because he wanted a change and maybe things felt a little redundant for him. I also think that Alex’s dad joined because he was possibly sick and tired of always being on the good side and serving the world. My last question is what happened to Alex’s mom? I think what happened to her was she died from an “incident” involving Scorpia. I think that what happened was she was killed too but in a different way. I think she got killed by one of Scorpias agents because they thought that Alex’s mom and dad would turn on Scorpia and go to
