My APTT meeting went very well, but when discussing the benefits and downsides of APTT meetings, there were many downsides. I didn’t really agree with the telling the students that if their parents come they will bring home a game for them. I know if I was a parent who was working crazy hours and/or multiple jobs I would already feel guilty enough without feeling like I was disappointing my child. There is also the fact that the majority of the parents who come are those who are already in frequent contact with the teacher, and those parents who are really needed at the meeting are the ones who don’t show
