Student Council Essay

I think I would make an excellent member of Muir,s Student Council for many reasons. Some of the traits I have that are useful to Student Council are leadership, trustworthiness, responsibility, confidence, intelligence and commitment. I am also a fun person to be around because I am enthusiastic, energetic, outgoing, creative, passionate and so much more! I do a great job working independently and with others, I think this is a great opportunity to be around and work with other people who are devoted to student council and improving our school.

I am a leader because I am a good example of what everyone should be doing without being told to or being directed in by an adult. This means that I do what I should be doing

Leaders A leader is defined as the person who leads or commands a group, organization, or country. Although to me, it is much more. Someone who is a leader is someone that people can look up to. For one to be seen as a leader in a certain role one must acquire the skills of vision, critical and/or creative thinking, respect, communication, teamwork, and ethics. Whether it something as simple as being a leader in a school project or being a captain for a sports team, being a leader carries responsibilities that affect the outcome of everyone involved in a group. Given these points, a personal experience of when I was a leader for a certain role was when I was a co-captain of my middle schools Lady Hawks basketball team. This role gave me responsibilities from leading stretching to directing plays during the games, and all my decisions affected everyone else on the team. For example, if I called out a play in the middle of an intense,…
