These activities include Cross Country, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, and Students Nurses Association (SNA). SNA meets once a week. We participate in activities throughout the community, invite guest speakers in to share their journey through nursing, and practices skills with future nursing students in the nursing lab. I put in approximately 20 hours of practice a week for my sports along with traveling to a competition the majority of the weekends. Adding athletics on top of nursing school makes it extremely challenging to find time to work. This scholarship would dismiss that challenge, allowing me to put all of my energy into my
