I was born and raised in Tampa, FL. I am is a 12th grader graduating number four in my class at Tampa Bay Technical High School. I am a person of determination, motivation and hard-work. I see life as an ongoing test that will take you through a journey of ups and downs. But, it all resides in how one makes their way through this storm. I plan to attend Florida A&M University in the fall of 2016 and major in Computer Science and double minor in Political Science and Business Administration. In due time, I plans to enter the Software Development and Designing field, while continuing to study law and politics on my own time. I have dreams of one day becoming a Speaker of the House. I plan to achieve such high goals by receiving a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science creating lifelong friendships and doing go deed by giving back to others. …show more content…
The most significant event in my life was when I lost my mother last year. Leukemia is a form of cancer that starts in the blood stem cells and hinders the body’s ability to fight infection. This disease consumed my mother’s body and took away my champion. The death of my mother has left me in a financial and emotional bind, placing my college plans into a state of nervousness. It has also placed me into a situation where I had to become a partner in my household to provide for myself and my guardian. Living life without my mother has always been my biggest fear. She was my best friend! She taught me everything I knew! She paid attention to the passion that I pursued success to fulfil my dreams!
