There are some many different forms of testing products that do not require using live animals and having the endure torture for a period of time. Other alternatives such as the microchip human organ which works and functions as a human organ and using blood from human volunteers to test for the presence of fever-causing contaminants. Without animals that are used in testing there would be no vaccines, biology lessons, medical training, chemical, drugs, food, and cosmetics. “Studies have shown that over the last 100 years of medical research where major breakthroughs and cures were found were through animal testing” (A Debate Among). Animals used in testing have caused major breakthroughs in history in many ways such as creating treatments for Diabetes, Vaccines for Hepatitis B, HIV/AIDS, Heart Disease and Stroke, Birth Defects and many other ways. However, there are still other options to test products that are still safer and more reliable. This form of testing has caused deaths among humans throughout the years. “...
