Since there are so many golfers at these meets, every hole has one or two groups of golfers. I was one of the unlucky ones and had to walk a long way to get to my first whole. Once I started my round of golf, my nerves went away. I was playing one of my best rounds of the season. Not to mention the day was perfect. It was sunny and about eighty degrees. I couldn’t have asked for better conditions. Anyways, I just got done with my first nine holes, and I was playing amazing. I ended up golfing a score of a forty-one which is pretty good for a high school golf meet. I didn’t think that day could get much better. I was having a great time. Meanwhile, my stomach had other ideas. It was my fourth hole on my second round when I started to feel sick to my stomach. I started to walk slowly and take deep breaths to try and ease the pain. I tried to drink bottles of water, but it didn’t help. Chills ran up and down my spine. I started to feel incredibly queasy. Before I even knew it, I was staring at my lunch on the golf course. I felt so sick that I vomited on the course. At that moment, I was shocked, embarrassed, and sad all at the same time. I thought I might be feeling better but then my stomach, again, had other plans. I knew I wouldn’t be able to finish the meet. My only mission now was to find a bathroom. I rushed to the clubhouse as fast as I could. I honestly don’t think I have ran that fast in my whole life.
