In Romeo and Juliet we are introduced to the characters by an extreme close-up shot of both characters. It seems violently confronted because it does not allow the audience to have a brief opportunity to remember them. This sets the tone of the whole movie. The additional character or characters in Over The Shoulder Shots still allow the audience to see where they are, neither does the third party influence the relationship of the two characters. In Romeo and Juliet these angles are not well polished and are constantly rushed into the next scene. In addition to the angle there is mostly some sort of disruption making it difficult for one to try and understand what the scene was about. The character in which one communicates are not shown completely in one frame.
