William Shakespeare uses Romeo and Juliet to show us a the cost of division. At the start of the play, Romeo is whining about this one girl that completely rejected him. He says that she was the only one he will ever love and that he is “devastated”. Romeo end up meeting this girl named Juliet, but there is one problem, she is a Capulet. Romeo’s family and the Capulet family have hated each other forever and no on really knows why, just like some sort of rivalry. Romeo and Juliet fall in love with each other, but they know that there families would not allow them to get married. So Romeo and Juliet secretly get married. In this story there is a woman who falls in love with a terrorist, who’s terrorists group took over their town. So similar to Romeo and Juliet two people fall in love but they can’t really be together due to their circumstances. “ As rich shall Romeo’s by his lady’s lie, Poor sacrifices of our enmity”,(5.3 319-320) is a quote said at the end of the play talking saying how tragic Romeo and Juliet’s sacrifice.
