In this case study Amtrak experience one of its deadliest accident. The stakeholders in this case are the Amtrak engineers, crewmembers, train attendants, passengers, the conductor, and anyone who have business or who associates with Amtrak. These stakeholders all have something in common with Amtrak. They all would rather see the trip go as smoothly as possible. The passengers use this form of transportation because it was reasonable and it got them to their destination in a timely manner. They were also pleased with the reasonable prices and the space that Amtrak provided. Amtrak offered fine dining and a comfortable environment for the passengers. The stakeholders had several interest concerning how Amtrak operated. The Amtrak’s crew members and owner’s responsibility were to make the passengers comfortable and enjoy their trip. As for the passengers, the only thing they had on their minds were to have a safe trip and be reunited with their families. Although Amtrak experience one of its deadliest accident, they always strive to have a safe trip and make passengers feel comfortable.

In my opinion, the pilot of the vessel should have not tried to operate under those conditions. There should have been a law against working in such extreme conditions. The best thing the pilot could have done were to use his common sense in the matter. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is responsible for figuring out who are at fault for these kinds of incidents and try to make travel safer in the future. They made several requirements for the bridge located on the river. I think the Supreme Court should start with the Mauvilla as being the responsible party in this incident and make sure all is done for the good of all involved in this
