Eight years and four months passed, the day I left my home and my family at Philippines. Now, I consider this island called Saipan, my second home. As I recall my days in the Philippines I don’t think we celebrate thanksgiving, I never even heard of this. When I came here that is when I start to recognize that Thanksgiving is one of the most important holidays. It have become a way of life for me to rejoice it, to give thanks for everything or everyone and an excuse for my family to unite together once more. This thanksgiving I wanna thank my past and present teachers, my friends, and most especially my parents. My past and present instructors are the folks that taught me so many things. I’m thankful for them because they usually been there to help me cheer up once I’m down and remind me everyday that I am more than good enough. My beautiful and handsome friends who will make me snicker until my belly hurts and till I cry. This is one of the most best things in lifestyles is laughing like an fool along with your friends. Whether it is communicating in a language of laughter or exchanging that knowing glance in an incredibly awkward situation, my pals always knows the way to carry a grin that is going as much as my eyes and this is something I would in no way ever take for granted. I surely wanna thank my pals for loving me for who I am and for not judging me. My parents who will always stay in my heart. They gave me everything I need. I wanna thank my mom for the dinner that she usually makes. I wanna thank my dad for always going to my mid progress report because of that, I get extra credit for my classes. I wanna thank my parents for supporting me in every way they can. I wanna thank them for encouraging me to always pursue the things I was always interested in. I wanna thank them because I know that I will always be their first
