These are only the ones that have been set on record noncumulative, there still many victims out there who are currently entering, living in and ending their lives while in sex trafficking. This is caused by the vulnerability of these victims that have been tricked, only to be trapped in despair which will affect them for the rest of their lives. When someone is susceptible to physical harm, damage, or emotional injury they become vulnerable enough to become part of sex trafficking. In a study 56 percent of woman prostitutes are initially runaway youth, that which are vulnerable to trafficking ( ). For that reason being the sex traffickers lure their victims using false promise of high paying jobs, a better life, and a romantic relationship. They were soon isolated from any contact to their families and friends, going as far as to renaming the victims ( ). Therefore, it is why many do trust or care enough to open up, they do not wish to deal with the betrayal or lies and are carefree. Imagine yourself in their shoes when all you did is not care then end up meeting someone new think they are that one person you will be spending the rest of your life with but put you in sex trafficking instead, more so that was their intention all along.
