As I mentioned earlier there were people from different cultures. I even consider that the festival itself was not one hundred percent Filipino, because as I walked through the carps, I realized that most of the carps were from the Festival sponsors such as H.E.B., Houston Rockets, Green Mountain Energy, and many others. As for the performances on stage, most of the dances I was able to watch were performed using regular clothes and the songs were American such as: Dance with Somebody, Please Do not Stop the Music, and Ex 's and Oh; s among others. On the other hand, As for the food, there was quite a lot of variety. There were tents where they were selling Filipino 's food and desserts, as well as carps where people feasted on with Mexican and American foods and sweets.
