It just means I have to work harder and I will. Currently, I am taking steps towards my career by taking a pharmacy technician program at Mcallen High School to soon be a pharmacy technician. I see this as a stepping stone to my career because it will help me acquire a stable job throughout college, as well as aiding me with useful information when I attend medical school. As part of this program, I decided to join a club associated with it called HOSA, Health Occupations Students of America. This club allows for multiple access to community service as well as offering the opportunity to compete in various competitive events that go all the way to regionals. I've decided to compete in two events because one of the events I will be taking part in allows me to compete in another event. I'm looking forward to that and hopefully advancing the most I can in that event. My main goal this year is to put all of my efforts into finishing off this year strong and passing both tests required to become a pharmacy technician. My goal in the long run though is to attend UTRGV's pre-med program to better prepare me for the medical school that I will attend, which I'm hoping for will be Baylor's College of Medicine which is also associated with the pre-med program at UTRGV. So in the long run, I'm looking at about 8 years of college and maybe a little more if I decide to specialize in anything further. It's something I'm anxiously anticipating and can't wait to start my journey in order to fulfill my life
