There are many different kinds of paralegal jobs. Some of these jobs are family law, Estate Planning and Probate, Intellectual Property, Corporate, Bankruptcy, Litigation, labor and Employment, Real Estate and Immigration. Become a paralegal is one that is highly demanded in the career world. There is much diversity of paralegal jobs that provides a different source for service the people needs. In these areas, some may have the duties, but the findings are different. In family law, a paralegal job is to work in a law office drafting pleadings and correspondence, coordinating hearing and conducting research. Estate planning and probate paralegal job is to prepare wills, trusts, a power of attorney, probate pleadings, and deeds. They will also …show more content…
You will have to collect and organize client information by preparing a bankruptcy petition and adversary pleads. Also, you will have to work with a creditor and provide them with the document that they may need. A paralegal for a litigation firm works in many areas of the law; corporate, bankruptcy, personal injury or intellectual property. They will have to help the attorney with lots of research, drafting pleadings, collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses and preparing exhibits for trials. Labor and Employment duties for a paralegal is to handle all type of matter that is related to employment and workplace safety, such as sexual harassment, union disputes, hiring and firing issues and discrimination compilation. Working for a real estate company as paralegal duties are to handle all title and real estate companies or government agencies. The duties for a paralegal for immigration law firm is to help client and employees with immigrating to the United States, obtaining non-immigration visas, conducting research, proof-reading petition and application.
