Mistakes Are Always Forgivable Analysis

Bruce Lee wrote, “Mistakes are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them.” That is true but I had to learn the hard way. When I was in high school I had a brilliant cousin that would always do my papers and assignments for me. My CXC Examinations which is a Caribbean examination was coming up and I had to do my examinations on my own. I was selected to do eleven test and I was so confident that I would pass all of them. When the results came out I only passed three of the test. That was my biggest mistake. I never took the time out to do it on my own because of everything else I had going on at school and home. Clearly, I was never focus, lacking self-confidence and discourage. Therefore, I had to repeat eleventh grade because of this mistake. My father scold me and rejected helping me to go back to school when he heard about the results. I cried for days knowing that I needed to do this someway somehow. I was young and I had to accept my responsibilities and think about if I wanted to stay in this condition for the rest of my life or I wanted to move forward. I had to juggle school, house work, taking care of my sisters and putting food on the table. That was my responsibilities. I had to learn how to succeed on my own. The skills of having the courage, determination, faith and stoicism to get through that course to success. When it became time to do my examination my darkest moment came. My grandmother died that Sunday before my first test started. She would say, “believe in yourself because no matter how people start about u and put you down you will become better.” With tears rolling down my cheeks I did my examination. I never forgot those
