When i went to go visit her, she was happy to see me because she has not seen me in about 3 months or so. She told me that i had gotten much bigger and prettier. I guess that was a good thing
Once we got to the mall, i had to go in a couple of stores before i actually got a backpack. The backpack i had got was light pink and it was from Tilly’s. I also got a couple of pins to decorate it, so it would not be plain. Ever since i moved in with dad, i started to like the color light pink.
“Do you need anything else before we leave?” Dad offered.
“ I think I am good on everything. I did not want to buy so many school supplies because i just wanted to wait to see what my teachers would recommend me to get.” I said as i was getting in the the car.

So you just want to go get the rest of your things tomorrow?” Dad had asked me as he was turning the car on.
“Yeah, only if that is fine with you.” I said because dad did not seem to sure if he wanted to take me after school.
Once we got home, i took out my outfit I was going to wear tomorrow. I was not too sure how people were going dress but I am a type of girl who loves clothing and style, so obviously, my outfit was going to be looking better than everyone else’s.
I hear someone knock on the door
“Come in!” I shouted
Of course it was dad. Obviously it was dad because he was the only other person who lived here other than my brother, Johnny. He would only come during holidays or something important because he was at San Diego State University.
“Go to sleep early. I do not want you to be tired in the morning.” Dad implied with a straight face.
“Of course i will.” I said laughing
I found this pretty funny because my dad acted like i was a little kid telling me when to go to sleep.
“Do you need me to wake you up in the morning?” Dad said
“Nahh I am good. I will wake myself. Thanks for asking though.” I

Some people say that in order to accomplish an obstacle, you must have courage. When I was about seven years old, I remember going to my dad's military base a few hours before he was deployed to Iraq. It was a family day for the families of the army members who were going to be deployed. A family day was a day to spend time with military members and to unwind, have food, enjoy yourself, and do fun activities with your family on the military base. After a few hours of relaxing and eating, the people who were deployed, including my dad, had to head to the launch pad to take off.…

I said, "Hold on just a minute, I'll be right with you soon as I finish this chapter," and it was one of the best chapters in the book. Then I dressed and off we flew to New York to meet some girls. As we rode in the bus in the weird phosphorescent void of the Lincoln Tunnel we leaned on each other with fingers waving and yelled and talked excitedly, and I was beginning to get the bug like Dean. He was simply a youth tremendously excited with life, and though he was a con-man, he was only conning because he wanted so much to live and to get involved with people who would otherwise pay no attention to him.…

Shakira woke me up the next morning, and not the singer Shakira. No, it was a girl with curly blonde hair, nude matte lips, and brown eyes laced with so much mascara that they looked like cricket legs. Her name is Mara Shakira, after the celebrity, which is why she insists on everyone calling her so. She came at around noon, give or take when the rest of us were still snoring from our escapade the night before.…
