We are blinded by what we want; the more we focus on something, the more we leave out. We tend forget to allow ourselves to be completely human; to feel, to give, to take, to want, to lose, to be lost, be found, to laugh, to cry – live life. The other is friendship, a bond and connection we with have with another person – to be there for one another as best as we can. Most importantly, as we go through life we learn to love, but sometimes we forget to allow ourselves to be loved.

I met my best friend of six years in high school when I was tenth grade. Who would have known that as a sophomore I would have not only learned things at school, but also learn one of my purposes in life. By helping my best friend find a meaning in life and not commit suicide for

She made mistakes and learned from it. I told Yeojin that she should not let him win. If she wants to be happy she should not let someone else determine her life or control it, only she can. I can be either useful or useless to her, depending if she chooses to listen or not. This is her life and she should not let anyone else tell her how to live it.

For her it may look like there is no other way to go through life at the time. She was in love with him and thought of life with him, to marry him, to have kids with him, but we were still young. If she ever dreamed of having all that, why would she end her life now and not live achieve what she wanted? Even though it’s not with him, she still wanted those things. So why is she going to end her life for someone that she can’t have that life with?

Yeojin finally realized that she deserves to be happy. She let go of Minsung and moved on with her life. It was hard for her at first, but she started dating other guys.
