The Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau has been charged with shineing the light on two distinct facets of the city’s emerging culinary prowess: a growing cabal of critically acclaimed and nationally recognized chefs, as well as the diverse world of ethnic neighborhood restaurants. Both tours are led by chefs and professional tour guides. All attendees on the tours must be at least 21 years of age. So, this may not be a option for family dining unless every one is over 21. Other facets of the program also include private and corporate tour opportunities as well as the food focused events like the Walking Food Tours, Pub Crawls and the Dine Arounds.
