When people are home schooled, they get a more personalized education. By getting a personal education, they can learn the things that they want to learn and can advance further. Say someone likes science and writing. If they are home schooled, they can dig deeper when they explore one subject and while writing, they can focus on the kind of stuff that they like. Peers are not all they are cracked up to be. Peers provide many distractions which provides something for students to focus on rather than their education. People can also make others feel inferior when it comes to how you look. Even if they do not say anything, people usually feel that they are never good enough. This is practically nonexistent if people were to be homeschooled. Peers also seem to turn education into a competition which, even though it can make people want work harder, it can make them feel discouraged. This way, the only person students are competing against, is themselves. Plus, with a clearer schedule, they have the availability to find friends by participating in extracurricular activities.
