Then, once I am outside I get out my book and sit down on the porch swing. Not everything is bad. Most people I know who have hard home lives have to deal with financial issues and two parents who fight constantly. You see, my mom works hard for what we have, so hard she is working herself to death and she never allows a break. Days off are rare, time with her is rarer.
