Although May to October is tempting as it is the lower season and deals to Cuba are plenty, it is also the hurricane season, avoid Xmas and New Years as everything is at a premium and there are no real deals to be had. January to April is the optimum time to travel as you avoid holiday traffic, the rainy season and the prices are still very affordable.
